World Syndrome Day

On Monday March 21st it's World Down Syndrome Day and to celebrate we're asking students to wear colourful socks to school in support.

What's it all about? The #LotsOfSocks campaign exists to raise awareness of Down syndrome. #LotsOfSocks helps us to get people talking on World Down Syndrome Day

All you need to do is choose some socks that are going to get noticed - they might be mismatched socks or your craziest and most colourful socks, whatever takes your fancy!

Campfire Conversation at WPS

Attention Warrnambool Primary School Koorie Community members

Our school has been nominated to host a ‘Campfire Conversation’ as part of the Victorian Government’s Self-Determination in Education Reform Initiative. The aim is to bring Koorie communities, young people and schools together to listen, share and connect about self-determination for Koorie people in education.  This is a chance for our Koorie community to discuss ways to overcome barriers to engagement and learning to accelerate excellence in Aboriginal educational outcomes. Invitations, with full details, will be sent home with students. If you would like more information please email Gina Mills, gina.mills@education.vic.gov.au  Please note, numbers/attendance confirmation will be required for this event.
