VCAL 2021 – Where are they now?
Our VCAL Class of 2021 are thriving in their life beyond Parkdale!
We are very pleased with the pathway opportunities our students have taken, with some 16 Senior VCAL graduates engaged in apprenticeships in many and varied fields, including electrical, automotive, stone masonry, carpentry, plumbing and telecommunications. We also have two undertaking traineeships in Childhood Education.
Additionally, we have two students working full time as fitness trainers, and others undertaking further study in areas such as Beauty, Animal Studies and Youth Work, with others yet engaged in running fitness programs and a gym in a full time capacity.
Every one of our Graduates are engaged full time in either study or trade and we could not be prouder of the examples they are setting for future VCAL graduates. We look forward to inviting them back to speak with current students about their journey beyond school. Topping off a fantastic year, we again acknowledge our regional Applied Learning Award recipient, Eamair Stewart (pictured below).
