LCI Melbourne Kinship Incursion

On Monday 21st February, Year 10 Visual Communication Design class took part in the LCI Melbourne School Kinship Program. Patrinia Turner conducted a two hour online workshop at Glen Eira which gave students the opportunity to experience contemporary practice in Interior design. The class created a mood board and spatial plans for a personal space for themself that considered well-being and mindfulness.

Year 7 Painting Designs

The Year 7 students have learnt about the colour wheel and applied a colour scheme to a design. They have used acrylic paint to complete a harmonious and complementary scheme.

Year 8 Contour Line Drawings

The Year 8 Art students have successfully explored positive and negative space through still life drawings. The students learnt how to arrange a variety of objects, found in their homes, to create a composition that demonstrated depth, dimension and scale. The students then created a contour line drawing of their arrangement from observation and applied ‘Zentangle’ patterns to the background.
