Principal's News 

Good afternoon families,

I hope you have had a lovely week.

We have a busy few weeks as we get to the end of the term.

Lent

We are still in the season of Lent and it is a gentle reminder to increase our time of prayer, to give alms and do something for someone.

Bullying No Way

Today we have been celebrating "Bullying No Way" and Mrs Stefanec has started a Kindness Tree in the playground and all the students will be participating in creating this tree.

Division Swimming

Congratulation to our 14 swimmers, who will be participating in the Kingston Division Swimming Carnival on Monday 21 March.

I am sure they will do themselves and the school proud.

Harmony Day

On Monday 21 March it is Harmony Day. We will be staring the day with a smoking ceremony and initiating our Gr 5 Fire Carriers.

After lunch, all classes will participated in buddy activities. We are having a sausage sizzle for lunch and orders have closed for those children wanting a sausage for lunch.

Gr 5 First Communion

On Sunday, two Year 5 classes will be making their First Communion. Please remember them in your prayers.

Principal's Conference 

Michelle Barron and myself will be on a Principal's conference in Lorne from Tuesday until Friday next week. Mrs Tanya Stefanec will be in charge.

Cross country training

Thank you to the 95 students who turned up on Thursday for training. We will now be training only on a Tuesday as we need more staff to help with the large number of runners.

Southern FM

Some of our Year 6 students will be running a radio show on Southern FM next Thursday 24 March from 7-8 am. Listen on 88.3.

Lightning Premiership

All the grade 6 students will be participating in the Summer Lightning Premiership next Friday. 

School Advisory Council 

The School Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday 29 March at 7 pm at St Louis.

PFA meeting

The PFA will be meeting on Wednesday 30 March at 7 pm at St Louis.
