Lunchtime Gardening
Students have been very busy enjoying our garden! Students were able to sample our previous crop of carrots and our very first kiwi fruits. They then worked hard turning over the garden beds and preparing for this seasons crops. There was lots of excitement as students were then able to plant spring onion, spinach, sugar peas, carrots and bokchoy. We can't wait to sample these!
Along the way we have learnt about what worms do for the soil and that unwanted grubs make good chook food and fishing bait! We look forward to nurturing the garden and reaping the harvest!
