Parents & Friends Committee Update

From Parents and Friends Committee
Parents and Friends Report
The first Stay and Play saw a large group of parents, carers and children gather at ‘the Triangle Park’ to connect, play and eat. The kids enthusiastically tucked into a magnificent shared afternoon tea including icy poles, fruit, fairy bread, bbq skewers, chicken bites, lollies, biscuits and more. Activities including hula hooping, dragonfly helicopters, bubbles, poison ball, skipping and chalk drawing were enjoyed by adults and kids alike. There was a real sense of joy in the air as people reconnected and new families were welcomed and embraced by our wonderful school community.
A big thank you goes out to those who brought food to share and helped organise the feast and the activities. It certainly was a case of many hands making light work!
We look forward to the next Stay and Play on Wednesday 16 March. Stay and Play is organised by the NMPS Parents and Friends Committee. We are a group of parent and community volunteers who organise fundraising and social activities that bring our school community together. Anyone who cares about our school and is willing to help out with, or lead activities and events can join. Members can lead activities or provide support and assistance where possible/convenient. New members and ideas are always welcome!
