5/6 Space Station

5/6 Space Station always enjoy weekly sports lessons.  To their delight, they've been enjoying sports twice a week recently with lessons from our amazing coach from the Western Sydney Wolves basketball team.

We enjoy reading in our classroom especially when we get to transfer the knowledge we gain from literature to hands on tasks.  Student knowledge is further enriched in this hands-on task based on the solar system!

We've been exploring our personal interests and sharing what we know through creativity.  Students worked very hard to contribute to our class dinosaur mural.

Term 1 was busy from the get-go!  Students from 5/6 Space Station demonstrated their ability to contribute to their community of learners by setting a good example to others during class photos.  Look at this group of polite and courteous young people!

The University of Western Sydney visited GEPS to give Stage 3 students a wonderful insight into university life.  Our students were enthusiastic and enjoyed taking part in their own functional design task.  We look forward  to our trip to the university later in the year.
