Seaton High School 2021 Entrepreneurial Specialist Program Applications Closing Soon

 

A reminder that applications for the Seaton High School Entrepreneurial specialist programs for year 8s in 2021 will be closing on Wednesday the 23rd of October 2019.

 

The three Entrepreneurial specialist programs offered at Seaton High School are:

·       Students of High Intellectual Potential (SHIP)

·       Visual Art and Innovation

·       Emerging Technologies

SBS Radio presents the SBS National Languages Competition 2019 to encourage and celebrate a love of learning languages in Australia.

To enter go to  sbs.com.au/nlc19, enter your details, upload your drawing and answer the question “How does learning a language make a world of difference to you”

Include your written entry or caption in the language you are learning as well as an English translation.  Submit your entry for your chance to win!

Draw and Caption (Up to 30 words)   Category A: Junior Primary (Aged 4-7)

Category B: Primary (Aged 8-12)

Here are a few helpful hints when entering the competition:

 Why did you decide to learn this language?

 What do you like about the language that you’re learning?

 Has learning a language opened you up to new possibilities and experiences?

 Get creative: Use humour, be playful, find a unique angle, etc.

 Is your caption in a language other than English? Remember to include an English translation

 Try to keep the English translation as accurate as possible.

 

Talk to Frau Edwards if you need help with your idea for a caption or if you have any other questions about the competition.
