Term 3
Reflecting on another busy term at LNPS we have engaged in lots of exciting events and achieved many successes. Throughout the term our students participated in various excursions and incursions, where they were able to build upon the learning at school and make connections with the world around them.
Just some of the amazing experiences students engaged in were:
- Visit to Ayers House,
- The Arts Theatre
- Egyptian Gallery at the SA Museum
- Golf Excursion to Kooyonga
- Swimming
- DanceFIT
- Cricket Clinic
- Bike-Ed
- Book Week
- Science Week
- German Folk Dancing
- Festival Of Music Choir Performance
- Torrens and Fisher camps and many more
Term 4 is looking to be another busy time for the LNPS staff and students. We are very excited about our Community Night where students will be exhibiting their entrepreneurial skills through games and business ideas.
Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing holiday!

External Review @ LNPS
This term LNPS participated in an External Review. This is a three year review cycle implemented by the Department for Education. LNPS would like to thank everyone who participated in the review.
A detailed report identifying our strengths and next steps will be available in Term 4.
2019 Community Night
LOCK IN THE DATE - The annual Lockleys North Community Night will be held on Thursday 7th November 2019. The theme for this year is 'Side Show Alley'.
Students will be focussing on Enterprise Education and providing a wide range of stalls and activities to raise money. This is a great experience for our learners to transfer their knowledge and skills about financial literacies and business and economics in a real life situation. Watch this space for more information about poster competitions and further details about the night.
We hope to see as many school community members as possible.
School Closure Dates
The Governing Council has approved the following dates:
- School Closure on Friday 8th November. This is following Community Night which will be held on Thursday 7th November.
- Pupil Free Day on Monday 11th November. This will be the final PFD for 2019. Staff will be focussing on analysis of whole school data, strengthening our approaches to reading and writing, analysing our impact on student learning, planning 2020 targets and actions.
