  • New Bachelor of Cognitive Enterprise

Federation University is introducing the new 3-year Bachelor of Cognitive Enterprise which has been created in response to future industry needs.  Co-designed with IBM®, this course provides students with foundations, knowledge, and skills to deal with technological and strategic demands of contemporary and future business settings.   A Cognitive Enterprise is a business that combines the disruptive technologies including AI, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and Edge Computing with innovative processes and data, to enhance customer experience and gain competitive advantage. Students who study this degree will not only attain the bachelor’s degree but, through the partnership with IBM® will see them job-ready by earning IBM® Digital Badges (certifications) in Blockchain and AI during the degree.  These Digital Badges are only available through IBM® partner organisations like Federation University. Students will be required to complete Work Integrated Learning (WIL) units in their third year, and the WIL program will prepare them for the real-world.  Federation University students have the opportunity to be placed with leading global organisations like IBM®, so they can start their career while they study. Note: Students keen on an entire professional practice year, might like to consider the Bachelor of Cognitive Enterprise (Professional Practice)

 

  • New Criminal Justice Management Degree

Make a difference to the lives of people impacted by the criminal justice system through a career in youth justice, community justice, police, government departments, courts, prisons, corrections, or community based agencies developing and implementing projects to support people who are either at risk of or who have offended. Develop skills in management, strategic planning, project management, policy and grant writing in addition to a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system.

The Bachelor of Criminal Justice Management is ideal for people who have a passion for and interest in developing and managing projects. Students will develop an understanding of the criminal justice system, criminal justice agencies, victims and offenders and also the skills to undertake project and strategic management, communications, grant application writing, manage people and develop creative and innovative solutions to social and justice related problems.  Students are also prepared to be job-ready through a Work Integrated Learning program undertaken in the third year of the degree.  Students get to experience criminal justice in the real-world with a placement that responds to real world issues.
