Talent Show
Last Friday many students paripated in the St. Christopher's Talent Show. It was wonderful to see so many talented students sharing their gifts and having fun. Thanks Mrs Markham for organising this event and to our students in Years 5 and 6 for hosting. Please click on the link below to view some photos of this event.
Mathematics - lunch budget
Recently students in the 5/6 class worked in groups to prepare a lunch menu for their class. This project also involved working within a budget for the proposed lunch. Each group then presented their menu to the class in order to persuade others to vote for their group. Students voted for their favourite menu and Mrs Defilippis then purchased the relevant products. On Wednesday, the students prepared and enjoyed the lunch together.
During Mathematics lessons, the Year 5/6 students have also been learning about the characteristics of 3 dimensional shapes. They used shape 'nets' to construct shapes as well as other materials to highight shape faces, edges and vertices.
