Can you believe we are already in August! A mixture of sunny and cold days! We are still experiencing the challenges of COVID and other illnesses and I ask that you continue to monitor your children and keep them home if they are unwell. Once again, I thank you for all your ongoing support of your children and our school. As always our students are first and foremost!

School Closure Day October 3rd
The MACS Executive Leadership Team have approved an additional pupil free day for MACS Primary Schools. Staff shortages across the year have resulted in teachers having less time for Professional Learning and practice. Having an additional Closure Day will assist teachers and staff in our Catholic Schools to continue their Professional Learning. We have negotiated to have this Day on Monday October 3rd which is the first Day of Term 4.
We are negotiating with Camp Australia as to whether they will open their service on this pupil free day. To be confirmed.
We are still in negotiations with Camp Australia to understand the viability of Vacation Care here at St John Vianney's. If you could use the service in the school holidays and have not already emailed me to express interest please do so.
