2-Day Clinical Quality Improvement Design Workshop

The workshop is geared toward clinicians, health professions trainees, and healthcare staff who want to learn about how to design and implement a quality improvement (QI) project or initiative. Online access to required pre-workshop readings is provided in advance.

Prior to the workshop, participants should identify a health care quality or patient safety issue that they want to improve. During the workshop, participants will actively apply the methods and tools taught, and design an actionable and feasible QI project.

Objectives:

• Describe basic concepts, methods, and tools in clinical quality improvement.
• Illustrate how process improvement and human-centered design methods are applied in health care.
• Describe the adverse effects of health inequities on healthcare quality in diverse populations.
• Design a clinical quality improvement project to address a health care quality issue.

Tuition (due with registration form):

• $150 for UC Davis Health residents and fellows
• $250 for other UC Davis employees and affiliates
• $350 for all other participants

Cancellation and Refund Policy: A refund of tuition, less $50 administrative fee, will be allowed if requested in writing by Aug. 25, 2022. No refunds will be provided after this date.
