Year 7 Incursion

On Friday 22 July the Year 7 cohort was involved in an incursion that focused on resilience and organisation/time management. 

The Values for Life program enabled the students to explore various daily challenges the young people face. Tim, the facilitator, explored various coping strategies to deal with challenges that are big and small in their lives. The students were engaged in interactive activities, games, discussion, and stories which aim to encourage growth mindset, skills to problem solve and seek help when necessary. 

The students interacted and participated in the many activities Tim delivered and appeared to have gained some valuable ideas along the way. The content covered and strategies delivered will continue to be the focus for the upcoming Pastoral Care lessons.
