Principal's Report

We have had a highly successful year  emerging from the remote learning and lockdowns of 2020 and 2021. It has been both a relief and a delight to return to so many of the experiences missed, curtailed or constrained. Special congratulations must go to our graduating Year 12 students, their teachers and all staff who have supported them over their time at Princes Hill. We are immensely proud of the achievements of all our students.

The school's median ATAR has continued an upward trend since 2018 ( a very strong VCE cohort itself) and is at 80.5 in 2022 - a record that is the envy of schools across the system.

We celebrate with our 2022 Dux, Jonathan Stanton and Dux Secunda, Clara Meiklejohn along with the 20% of students who achieved an ATAR above 90  and congratulate them on their impressive achievements across the gamut of curriculum areas.

We can be especially proud of the extraordinary breadth of learning opportunities our school provides -  as the images that follow in the Newsletter illustrate. A tremendous thank-you to students, parents and guardians and staff for participating in and supporting the tremendously important work that we do.

Wishing every one a safe and happy festive season and restorative summer holiday.
