Principal's Message

Nurture.  Innovate.  Celebrate.

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

On Friday the 29th of July the Foundation students celebrated their 100 days of school!

This day has been highly anticipated all year and what a celebration we had.

We started the day with showing everyone our costumes which included 100-year-old Grandma’s and Grandpa’s, 100-day fairies, and lots of decorated costumes.

The students completed several activities throughout the morning including making 100-day crowns, 100-year-old people, 100-day colouring as well as beaded bracelets.

Finally, we had the party right before lunch time where we celebrated together and ate lots of party food that everyone had brought in. The students had an amazing time and were very proud of themselves for reaching 100 days of Foundation.

This week at Maramba, Healthy Harold made his first appearance in 2 years! For many generations, the visits from Healthy Harold were some of the most definitive, memorable parts of primary school. The Life Education programs support children’s learning and development through a healthy lifestyle, through an engaging delivery that is play-based, experiential and interactive. Students engaged in hands-on lessons which empowers them to make safer, healthier and happier choices now and in the future.
