Fauna Rescue

This week we welcomed some special guests into our library. Vanessa from Fauna Rescue and Pauline and Shane from Bat Care. They gave us lots of information about their special work in assisting with injured animals. All students have been invited to join the "Talking Batty Bat Warrior Club" to learn more about these facinating animals and help educate others.

We also had the opportunity to pat a sleepy lizard that was in the library on loan from Nature Education.  

This year we have decided to support Fauna Rescue by donating money raised from our 10c containers around the school. We are organising for our first donation of $100 to be sent to them.
