Congratulations

We are pleased to let you know of the great achievements by our students at the recent Judo Victoria July 2022 Competition.

Genevieve Salinas - Silver medal in the Senior Girls age group 

Audrey Salinas - Gold medal in the Senior Girls age group 

These are great achievements and we are confident that they will continue to improve their judo skills. 

We would also like to share that David Scott has recently received his Australia Scout Award (formally called the Australian Scout Medallion -  https://scoutsvictoria.com.au/age-sections-adults/scouts/scout-program/peak-award-australian-scout-award/) in recognition of his achievements in Scouts (11-15yo).  This is the pinnacle award Scouts can achieve and is a culmination of 3 years of effort in his Scouting journey.

Breakfast Club

The GEC School Breakfast Club runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:00am to 8:30am, enter Food Tech room 2.

Our hot cheese toasties are proving a hit on these very cold and frosty mornings!  Warm up with these hot offerings:

• hot cheese toasties with fresh tasty cheese slices
• hot baked bean toasties
• steaming hot porridge with milk & honey
• fresh apples & fruit cups
• Bakers Delight Toast with honey or vegemite
• a variety of healthy cereals

Breakfast & Lunch Food Hampers

The Breakfast Club at Glen Eira College can support students who may not have access to enough food at home.  Each food hamper, otherwise known as "school holiday pack" contains enough breakfast food, snacks and lunches to help support one student for two weeks.  These can be picked up from the school.  Please contact the school on 9571 7838 to let Reception know you'd like a hamper put aside for you to pick up.
