A big thank you to Ebony for organising the Vision Portraits Fundraiser on Sunday. It was such a great opportunity for families to have a professional portrait taken and receive a framed copy.
Did you remember to buy raffle tickets on Thursday or Friday for the Cake Raffle? Some very lucky families scored Sarah Kirby's delicious fudge, and raised $87.90 for the school in the process. Thanks Sarah!
We are collecting Easter Egg donations for the End of Term Raffle. If you're doing the grocery shopping in the next couple of weeks, please consider grabbing an extra chocolatey treat that we can use in our hamper prizes. Donations can be left in the basket in the school foyer near the P&F noticeboard.
Rosters for the Twilight Sports BBQ (12th March), Bunnings BBQ (22nd March) and Family Breakfast (27th March) are up on the P&F Noticeboard. If you're not able to head into school to put your name down, but would like to volunteer, please feel free to get in touch and I'll add your name for you. Thank you very much to everyone who has nominated a time.
Don't forget that Jess Sterritt Walker is our Community Support Representative. If you need a little extra support please don’t hesitate to contact Jess. And if you are able to offer support (perhaps you can cook some meals or do some grocery shopping for a family in need) Jess will add you to her database of volunteers – email mprps.community@gmail.com
Several wonderful organisations within the Whitehorse area offer free or low-cost community meals. A couple of options in our local area are;
o Stairway Church, Wednesdays 5.45pm, 171 Rooks Road in Vermont.
o Mitcham Community Meal, Sundays 6pm, 18 Edward Street in Mitcham.
