Confirmation

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation last Sunday. Bishop Kennedy and Fr Paul were very impressed with the knowledge and behaviour of all students. This is a credit to the parents and families, and the students themselves.

Grade Mass

Year 4 will be attending Mass at Mary Help of Christians Church on Tuesday 17th September at 9.30 am.

LidKids

Mini Vinnies has a project that is well underway and is for a good cause. LidKids is a project helping children who  have been born without a hand, or lost a hand to illness or injury.

Made out of plastic bottle lids, with a 3D printer, all of the plastic bottle lids combined are melted together to form a prosthetic hand. The goal that St Edward's has is to collect is 1,000 lids by the end of Term 3. The lids that are suitable are the lids that say a 2 or a 4 on the bottom of the cap. Can you help us make plastic fantastic? 

Let's try and get to our goal. Currently we have approximately 772 lids!

Please send in clean lids from milk, juice and soft drink bottles. We can make a difference!
