St Edward’s has been involved in another successful teacher swap. This time our ATSI Focus Teachers, Mrs Heidi Hardaker and Miss Gemma Tolmie (St Nicholas' School Tamworth), came together to share practices and resources with the aim to promote a more open communication within the Catholic Schools within the Tamworth area.

As part of the teacher swap, our ATSI children in Year 5 and 6 were provided with an opportunity to be introduced to the VR headsets and participated in a lesson based on Voice Treaty Truth. Miss Gemma Tolmie exposed the children to landmarks around Australia and correlated these landmarks with experiences for the children to relate and broaden their current knowledge on this year’s NAIDOC theme, Voice Treaty Truth.
