Science Commencement Program

Students have been busy during commencement! Below are some of the activities students have engaged in as they enter their next learning stage!

Year 8 STEM CLASS: Students learnt about the Engineering Design Process and applied it to designing a heart stent to treat atherosclerotic arteries! They then modelled blood flow through healthy and unhealthy arteries and the artery they cleared with their stent design, to compare the volumetric flow rate!

Year 11 Physics students applied their practical skills by measuring the heat capacity of different liquids.
