BEACH DAY

BSC Language Centre

On Tuesday 26th November, 13 students from the BSC Language Centre made had a day excursion to Brighton Beach. Students and staff utilized the clubhouse of the Brighton Life Saving Club, enabling a full day of activities and learning.

Ms Dimitropoulos taught the students about many careers based around aquatic environments.

Ms Bolton presented information about water safety before students ventured onto the beach to have some demonstrations by a lifesaver.

Many thanks to the Brighton LSC for use of their facilities and for helping cook our delicious BBQ lunch.

Students were able to take many photos of our iconic bathing boxes to show their families.

It was a great day out, despite Melbourne's strange and changeable weather!

Thanks too Ms Apostolellis for joining in the fun and Ms Simmons for driving us there and back.
