The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde
This year’s production is continuing to gain confidence and strength. The show is slick and believable enough to be a bit disturbing, in a good way. The cast and crew are as dedicated a group of people as I have seen so I hope to see a big entertained crowd on each of the performances.
The Dungeon Series
The monthly recitals are enormously fun, challenging and satisfying. Putting on any sort of concert once a month is a big ask sometimes but the wonderful approach of our musicians and the friendly audiences have made it very rewarding to all concerned.
A Huge thanks to Roger for the amazing signage, and for his vision in regard to what that room can become… look for improvements to the ‘dungeon’ in the near future!
New Saxaphone Ensemble
We have a new saxophone ensemble, no name for them as yet but for their age they are performing challenging and fun pieces. Jack Freeman, Indianna Freeman, Tyson Witcomb, Tori Cheeseman (perhaps) and myself on Baritone Sax are playing songs like ‘Hotel California, ‘Baker Street’ and more. Look for them in a dungeon concert soon.
Concert Band
Stay tuned for Concert band news very soon. We look like venturing into some traditional rock band territory, some classical tunes later and all the camaraderie and friendship that can make a bigger band rewarding. This should start first week of Term 4.
