SRC News

The Student Representative Council has been busy toiling away behind the scenes changing and improving things for students at Baimbridge College.

Boys Socks:

After student consultation, School Council approved the recommendation that the boys socks be changed to navy blue.

Students are able to continue to wear the current socks until the end of the year.

Navy socks will be expected to be worn by all boys from Term 1, 2020.

The change has come about due the manufacturing discontinuation of the current socks.

Footy Colours Day:

Traditionally SRC have always run this event, and this year is no exception. On Wednesday 11th of September students are invited to come to school in their team’s colours. You are encouraged to wear the colours of any team and not just AFL. Students need to bring a gold coin donation if they are wearing their footy colours. There will be sports related food to purchase from the canteen.

World's Greatest Shave:

The SRC is very excited to again be hosting a World’s Greatest Shave event on Thursday the 19th of September. The event will take place at lunch time in the West Gym. There will be opportunities for students to purchase a waxing strip for $1 on the day to participate.

The money raised goes to the Leukemia Foundation in support of cancer research.

Baimbridge College SRC are always enthusiastic to hear from anyone in the student body about ways we can work to help bring about positive change and be an avenue for student voice.

Can you please help??

Our canteen is in desperate need of volunteers.  With limited names on the roster in 2019 (thank you  thank you thank you for your contribution to our school to those who have volunteered) we are calling for volunteers.

We do not care how long you can give.  One hour will be better than nothing.

Our canteen has already lost one trading day and the students miss that dearly.  Without volunteers we could lose another.

If you are able to assist please complete the form below and return it to school.  We appreciate anything we receive from our volunteers.
