GaGa

We have opened our new Junior GaGa Pit to the obvious delight of the Foundation to Grade 2s. The structure was finished with grassphalt on Wednesday last week and the students began games on Thursday. The pit is open for Foundation at recess and Grade 1 & 2 at lunchtime. It was lovely to see so many students playing in it – both boys and girls – and learning the rules.

We have had several Grade 5 & 6 students assisting with refereeing the junior games and  I commend them on their warm, supportive approach. The popularity of this new game is a great example for the senior students of how strongly their games and interests are a model for the junior students. Another good reason to always set the right example.
