BRAIN OLYMPIA SUCCESS

Yesterday 16 children travelled to Narrabri to compete in the 2019 Brain Olympia Grand Final Competition. Our two St Xavier's teams had qualified for this event after finishing first and second in the recent cluster competition. The St Xavier's teams were called The Brainy Bunch and Let's Get Quizzical. The children did an absolutely outstanding job throughout the day completing trivia, general knowledge, maths questions, public speaking and drama. At the end of the day, when the scores were tallied, The Brainy Bunch were placed in equal first place with St Mary's Armidale and Let's Get Quizzical were placed third. An absolutely outstanding result!! It was very exciting to bring the massive trophy back to our school! Congratulations to all those students involved in this fun and challenging event. St Xavier's is very proud of your amazing achievements.
