Sailing at the Sorrento Couta Boat Club

On Sunday the 3rd of February we went to the Sorrento Couta Boat Club to sail and see Australian Fur Seals. At first, I thought we were going to try and sail but there was no wind, so we went to see seals, they were awesome. We got onto the boat it was a little rocky, but I didn’t get seasick. At the start of the boat ride Ms. Sally’s Dad told us if we spot dolphins, we get lollies.

We were now going to travel in the boat to Chinaman’s Hat where we would see the seals and on the way Charlie, Antwan, Evie and I were putting our feet and hands in the water. Suddenly, Charlie yells out “dolphins!”. It was kind of hard to see at first because of my eye sight. As we got closer and I started to see them there were five of them.

After seeing the dolphins, we got lollies and all of them were gone in a blink of an eye. 5 to 10 minutes later we got a whiff of the seals and the seals were so smelly fat, lazy but really cute. Seeing seals was awesome because it was my first time ever seeing them. After that we came back to the beach and had sausages and homemade burgers. The weather changed shortly after and I was really cold but felt great about being lucky enough to see dolphins and seals.

KWM Visit

On Friday the 8th February we went to King, Wood Mallesons for a visit. We left school after morning tea and caught the train.  It was a long walk and there were a lot of people on the footpath so we all had to stay in a line. When we got there the place looked fancy but there weren’t many people around.  We travelled to the 54th floor and from there we could see the beach and some boats, even some birds came up close to the windows. We left and had some lunch at Southbank we had yummy food and we even had orange juice.

MSAC

Last week we went to MSAC for a swim. When we were in the pool we waited for the waves to come on and we went into the deep end of the pool because the waves were bigger and more fun. I was hanging with Rhiannon which made it more fun and she was always holding on to me, she might have been scared. The lifeguard put on the sprinklers and we all went under the sprinklers but Marley made me laugh because he fell back in the sprinklers and floated away. We went into the other pool where it was warmer and sat in there for a bit Ruby was really cold.  We got back into the Wavepool and the lifeguard put the waves back on before we left.  We got out of the pool and got changed. It was a fun afternoon.
