Welcome to the 2019 school year and to our broader MITS family.  Week 3, is wrapping up and the students are settling in to Melbourne life and the MITS classroom with confidence and zest.   Already the students have been introduced to new ways of learning, challenging assessment items, Art Projects and the plethora of sporting opportunities that surround the Yarra Park Precinct.  They are taking on these new challenges with incredible enthusiasm which has made teaching them all the more fun.

The 2019 MITS students are an awesome group and their courage to embark on this unique schooling experience is something that all of the teachers and support staff recognise and feel really blessed to be a part of.  The idea of two way learning has been a feature of the classroom as we get to know the students and what they can do and they get to know us and their new home at Lockington, Melbourne.

You will notice that the newsletter is being published via a different platform that we hope will make it easier for us share the MITS journey and all the incredible activities and learning experiences we have planned for the students throughout this year.   You will be able to access the newsletter via the MITS website, facebook page and your email.
