Cross Country

On Friday 3rd  May, fifty-six of Greenvale Primary Schools finest runners attended the District Cross Country at Brimbank Park.

In gorgeous, sunny conditions our team battled against other local schools across 2000m and 3000m events.

Top 30 place getters in each race won points for their school, top ten place getters in each race won a spot into the Divisional Cross Country later in the term and the top three place getters in each event were awarded a medal.

The team from Greenvale Primary School represented us with great sportsmanship, athleticism and endurance with many students advancing to the next level of Cross Country and many more winning points for our school.

Some of the outstanding performances were:

10 Year Old Boys: 1st Jake

10 Year Old Boys: 3rd Osman

10 Year Old Girls: 1st Victoria

10 Year Old Girls: 3rd Nethasha

11 Year Old Boys: 2nd Ridha

To the students who will continue onto the Divisional Cross Country, we wish you all the best.
