Foundation - First Excursion

On Thursday the 9th May, our fantastic foundation students went on their very first excursion. Over 100 students made their way to the Melbourne Museum and IMAX cinema, to learn more about “Mighty Minibeasts”. Packed with their “Eagle Eyes” Greenvale Primary School's Foundation students found lots of interesting insects in the forest garden, took in the enormous dinosaur exhibition and even managed to fit in some games on the grass outside during lunch.

Students also participated in practical sessions discovering what made insects so special with Simone during the “Bugs Bugs Bugs” show while also coming up with some brand new species. We would like to thank all of our amazing parent helpers, ES staff and pre-service teachers for helping us run such an incredible day. We will continue to be curious about minibeasts throughout the term so stay posted for our next adventure.
