Carparking Changes
Carparking
All cars entering the school to drop students off will be required to follow the RED arrows as outlined in the picture above.
The YELLOW area designates the Kiss and Drop Zone for students to exit the cars into the green Walking Zone from where they will be assisted by the Crossing Guard to cross the road.
For those parents with infant children or who have pre-arranged business at the College, the ORANGE Parking Zone should be used.
The BLUE zone is the designed access for staff parking and parents dropping off children to Kingston Early Learning Centre.
Drop off and pick up:
- General: All drop off and pick up will occur on the carpark side of the school buildings. Parents will use a drop off zone in the lower carpark (signposted) for “kiss and drop” (unless you have an appointment with a member of the College – see below). Students alighting in this designated area will have direct access to the crossing (supervised by our crossing guard) and duty staff and will not need to cross the road at any unsupervised crossings (parking will be in the upper carpark area). (See Carparking Changes page in the newsletter).
- Infant school parents may park and walk their children across the zigzag walkway to the carpark side entrances of the infant classes which will be open by 8:20 each morning. Infant school parents may also collect their children from this side of the building at the end of the day (internal infant doors will not be accessible).
Thank you for your patience while helping us with our new carparking arrangements this week, which, other than some small teething issues, have worked well.
