Welcome to our new Alumni iNewsletter. With this new format there is so much scope for the addition of photos and reports. We hope you enjoy it.
There are also plans for the next twelve months to further develop the connections the Alumni have with the College. Alumni members are currently at some of our assemblies, Year Level events, Multicultural Dinner and as guest speakers. We will also be appointing a Marketing person to assist with these connections. At this stage we are considering Alumni Mentors, morning teas, a guest speaker program, participation in change projects and informal get togethers. We would welcome your input also. Any suggestions can be forwarded to me at lcannon@killester.vic.edu.au
My thanks are also extended to Kylie Taberner, who has compiled this 2020 iNewsletter, and who has regularly worked with the school reunion teams.

Killester Uniform Changes
If you are around Springvale and have spotted some Killester girls, you will have noticed some uniform changes. For some of you, the uniform was totally brown, Then it became the new colours of light and navy blue and fawn/yellow. Now it has additional clothing available, with many girls wearing very smart looking navy pants for winter. Whilst this is a transition year, in 2021 the fawn socks and brown shoes will be gone and, in their place, will be the new navy socks for winter and white socks for summer, both with light and navy blue bands at the top. There will also be navy tights and black shoes. Many girls have already changed to the new uniform combinations, which appear to have been well received.
Term 2 Care Packs
While the students were in lockdown, they received their Term 2 Care Packages in the mail. A little gift to let them know that everyone at Killester is with them. Take a look at what was inside! A big thank you to the Administration staff, who spent hours making the packs. The girls just loved receiving them and we received so many wonderful and thoughtful 'Thank You' replies.
