Classroom News & Student Awards
Celebrating this week's birthdays
Happy birthday wishes to Riley and Link.
Senior Class
Over the last few weeks the Senior students have been exploring what Kindness means. So to help us understand we decided to create cards for the residents at Avonlea. Everyone worked really hard to make sure their card was special and uplifting, the cards had lots of pictures and special messages inside. All the cards were delivered to Avonlea last week, we've received lots of positive feedback. The students also developed Thank you posters to be displayed around town. The posters were made to show that we appreciate all the hard work everyone is doing to keep our town safe and remind everyone they are amazing!
Junior Class
In PE this week we held a yoga class. This was lots of fun, and challenged our flexibility and balance. Yoga has many health benefits. Some of the yoga poses that we struck were: crow, dog, dancer, deer, eagle, door, dolphin, dragonfly, fish, flamingo. Can you guess which poses the students are doing in these photos?
