I'm reading?

Lisa Mathieson

I have two books on the go at the moment, one for entertainment and the other to teach me “how to adult’, I'll let you work out which one is which. I’m a sucker for some trashy chic lit and have flown through all of Lauren Weisberger books and same for Zoe Foster-Blake. I like easy reads that play out like an episode of ‘Sex and the City’. I have high hopes for The Sunday Girl,

it has a little more thriller in it than I am used to but I like where it is heading. My partner has hassled me to read The Barefoot Investor for years and I have finally given in. It’s not as boring as it sounds and is delivered in terms that any Average Joe can understand. You will know if the book is any good if I am upgrading the Mazda for a Range Rover before the year is out!

What I am listening to.

I was/am a little sceptical about pod casts, I don’t like to think too hard when I’m exercising so I was in search of something very

lighthearted. The hosts of Happy Hour are of course Nikki and Lucy from @wethe_wildones. The girls have a lot of fun and talk a lot of girly rubbish and I think it’s helped fill the “I miss my friends” void for me during all these restrictions. I wouldn’t say it's quality content, but neither am I and it makes me giggle.
