Tell me a Story
Who watched the YouTube clip that Mr Mc put in last week's newsletter? It got me thinking about stories and how powerful they are in our lives.
Whether through books, movies or conversations we have with friends, stories can stir our emotions, help us reflect and motivate change. Stories can give us courage and create a sense of unity as we realise emotions and feelings are common to us all.
Now that we have some dates for returning to school, many of us are experiencing a new set of anxieties as we wonder about the uncertainties and changes that will be in place. But many of us including children, have faced new situations before (and survived). Now is a great time to reflect on and share these stories together as parents and kids. You might learn something new about each other as you share and be encouraged as you face the changes ahead.
Enjoy your story telling!
