Year 7 Book Club

Year 7 would like to thank Ms Wicks, Mr Sutton, Ms Haskett, Mrs Green, Mr Howard, Mrs Low, Mrs van der Meer and Mrs Fornasier for making the Year 7 Book Club possible. Students were super excited last week when they discovered that they were receiving a gift from the school - a brand new reading book!

Students were given a wrapped book in their Connect class to encourage the importance of reading. They were able to read the blurb and take a moment to read the first few pages to decide whether they liked it or would prefer to swap with another student.

By the end of the connect lesson, students had decided on a book and all seemed extremely happy with their choices! 

As Year 7 Advisers, it was beautiful to see the students so engaged and excited.
