Who Am I?

I was born in England in 1965.

My given names are Joanne Kathleen.

I wrote my first book at aged six; a story about a rabbit.

At eleven years of age I wrote my first novel, about seven cursed diamonds and the people who owned them.

My first book was published in 1997 but the idea was conceived in 1990 and the series of seven books was mapped out over five years.

I wrote the ‘Harry Potter’ series.

I am J.K. Rowling.
