Careers @ B.S.C

CAREER ACTION PLANS

Students at Beaumaris Secondary College have started their career development journey. In the first few weeks of Term 2, all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 commenced working on their Career Action Plans. Career Action Plans allow our students to reflect on their skills, values, and interests. This process enables and supports students to set goals, both within and outside of the school environment as well as clarifying actions that are needed to achieve their goals. GOAL mentors will sign off on students Career Action Plans and as we progress through the year, students will have the opportunity to reflect on their goal progress and adjust as required. Students in Years 8 and 9 have also had the opportunity to start discovering different industries in the world of work by exploring the Job Outlook website as part of their Career Action Plan.
