Dear Parents/Carers, Families and College Community

Congratulations to Natalie MacDonald who was elected Year 10 parent representative on the College Board. My thanks to the other parents who nominated. 

As a reminder, our first Board meeting is 8.30am on the 1st April. This is an open meeting where any member of the College community are welcome to attend.

Wagin Woolorama

Last weekend I joined a group of students and staff as they competed in various events and enjoyed Wagin Woolorama. 

Many of our students don't usually get a chance to experience the Wheatbelt, so the Woolorama is a great opportunity to learn about this vitally important part of our agricultural industry. I was very pleased with the conduct of our students which was reinforced by positive comments from members of the public. 

Congratulations to those students who competed and to those who won various places and prizes. 

WACOA Carnival

We are already on the run to the end of the term, but there is still much to complete before we get to enjoy the Easter break. 

Next weekend we are hosting the Annual WACoA carnival and I would encourage parents to come to support our teams. It is a great weekend and an opportunity for our students to mix with like-minded students from other Colleges in friendly competition. This year Morawa are unable to attend so the competition will be fixtured on Friday night and Saturday, followed by tea at the College on Saturday night.

End of Term

Families will soon receive information on the Term 1 Interim reports and the parent-staff interviews that will take place on 1st April.
