EVERY SCHOOL DAY COUNTS

In the present COVID climate we are no longer using “It’s not OK to be away”. To keep everyone fit and healthy all students should be kept at home if they are displaying cold and flu like symptoms and get tested.

However, we are now promoting our new slogan which is “Every School Day Counts”

We are delighted to inform you that we have 111 students who have a 100% attendance rate so far this term and a further 57 students who have above 96%.

Jackson School’s aim is to have as many students attending five days a week as often as possible. We will be reaching out to families who may need support to ensure their child is at school every day (Health Permitting).

GRADE 6 REVIEWS

It is that time of year when all our Grade 6 students have to have paperwork completed so they can have their Grade 6 review/assessment. Some students may be in Grade 5, as it is based on age and not just grade.

For those parents that have had paperwork sent home, can you please complete it as soon as you can and return it to school.

If you have any questions or require any assistance please contact:

Jan Brown or Bernadette O’Sullivan through the front office.
