Youth & Schools Clean up Day

On Friday 26th Feb, all students participated in Youth & Schools Clean up Day. Every class took to the streets of Elwood to collect rubbish. We collected around 10 full bags of rubbish. 

Market Fresh Incursion

The Prep-2s had so much fun participating in a Market Fresh Incursion on Fri 26th Feb. They learnt all about where fruit and vegetables come from, how these are harvested and transported and how they eventually get to supermarkets and markets to be sold. They tasted the fresh vegetables and fruit and took home a fun activity booklet with healthy recipes and games to use at home. It was a fun afternoon.

Port Phillip Eco Centre- Nature & Culture Festival

The 3/4's had a great time going virtual scuba diving at the Nature and Culture Festival in Week 5. They learnt about animals in Port Phillip bay from marine experts, Ben and Matt. There are some fascinating creatures in our bay!
