Our first lunchtime screening in the Library Lunchtime Friday

We held our first lunchtime screening in the College Library on Friday 12 February, at the instigation of our English, Geography and Religion Teacher/ Nicholls House Learning Mentor/ Sustainability Leader, Mrs Phillips.  Students seemed pleased to take advantage of the opportunity to relax in the cool at lunchtime while learning.  Our first screening was Sir David Attenborough’s Blue Planet collection.

Welcome to our new Library staff member

Last week we welcomed Ms Natalie Lonsdale to our Library team and the College community. Natalie has been working as acting Branch Librarian at Rushworth Library (a branch of Campaspe Regional Library), as well as working casually as a Library Assistant at the Bendigo headquarters of the North Central Goldfields Library Corporation, and is both experienced and passionate about genealogical research.

Ms Lonsdale will be working three days per week in the Library role of Library Assistant and one day per week project-managing archiving of the relics and documents that make up the rich history of the College.

We look forward to the fantastic contribution our new team member will make to the Library and to the College community into both the next exciting phase of the opening of the Stratton Rd Campus, and into the launch of the College Archives Project.

Masks to be worn

A reminder that all students are to wear masks indoors, including in the Library.  Library staff have been reminding students to wear masks in the Library in line with Victorian regulations and appreciate when masks are worn inside without being asked.
