badminton, canoeing, handball, outdoor court games, recreational swimming, recreational walking, skating, soccer, table tennis, ten pin bowling, touch football, tennis, volleyball, weights.
Therefore, make sure any necessary sports gear is packed each Wednesday, along with money required for the bus or entrance to facilities.
Giving back to the community
Every year, ASC strengthens it's community ties by providing helpers for the Armidale City Public School's Swim Carnival. We had a great group of students volunteering to assist for the day last Wednesday.
All had a marvellous day and were super ambassadors for ASC!
ASC Saturday Netball Club
Registrations are now open for 2021, with all past and new members most welcome! Registrations should be made online under ASC and the sporting voucher can be used.
We had a very successful season last year, finishing with the Club Trophy as ADNC's #1 netball club with two championship teams!
New parents are also encouraged to support the team by joining the ASC Netball Club Committee.
Please see Mrs Pearson in the CAPA Staffroom for further information.

Target Rifle Shooting
We are proud to share the fantastic results achieved by Jock Foster (Year 11) in the 2020 NSW Queen's Prize Target Shooting competition held at the Anzac Rifle Range over the January long weekend. This is a prestigious individual competition attended by a contingent of members of the Armidale Rifle Club. It was Jock's first time competing in the F-Class Open section, against others who were much older and with a great deal more experience.
Jock won the 600 metres stage on Day 1. He achieved scores known as 'possible' (a perfect score with every shot through the centre of the target) and also scored a 'probable' (a perfect score with every shot through the smallest super-centre circle on the target).
Jock was also the leader going into Day 3, which was shot at 800 metres. A tricky wind change on the final stage saw him drop just 2 points to finish 4th in a field of 27 (and just one point behind the leader).
Congratulations Jock!
