School visits

During Weeks 4 and 5 we will be hosting an evening series of campus visits for parents/carers of our students. Visits are being facilitated by year group in order to comply with current Covid-19 restrictions:

16 February - Year 12 

17 February - Year 7: Meeting the Teacher & Campus Visit;

22 February - Years 8 & 10: Campus Visit;

23 February - Years 9 & 11: Campus Vist.

Term 1 testing schedule

Year 7: Best Start Testing

Year 7's Best Start Tests will occur in Weeks 4 and 5 this term. This is a diagnostic test which allows teachers to best cater for your child. 

If your child misses their allocated test time there will be catch-up tests in Week 6.

Year 10-12: Minimum Standards Testing

We will be beginning the Minimum Standards Tests this term. Year 10 will do their initial test in their Maths, English and HSIE classes. Students from Years 11 and 12 who have not yet reached a Level 3 will be contacted to arrange a time for your test.

Remember, these tests allow you to gain an HSC and can be attempted numerous times each year. We have support at the school to help improve your skills to attain the minimum standard.

School photos

School photos have been taken this week by MSP Photography. Families wishing to have a purchase a copy needed to return the envelopes on the day, and can expect to receive their final product in several weeks.

Vaccinations

Year 7 will be having their first round of vaccinations on Thursday 25 February. Please ensure your child comes to school that day and has handed in their signed vaccination consent form.
