Italian Dress Up Day - Friday 3rd December

Chloe's Big Chop

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

Please help me raise funds for Variety.

https://hairwithheart.variety.org.au/s/6015/6015/e

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.

By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.

Thank you for helping kids in need.

Vinnies Toy Drive

The Year 11 cohort have contributed to a ‘Pay It Forward’ project over the course of the year which sees the students making an initiative to pay others back in the community. For this semester's initiative, a group of students are initiating a ‘Christmas Toy Drive’, in which our community is invited to bring in new and unwrapped gifts for those who may be struggling in our community. The age group most in need of gifts is 10-15. A Christmas tree will be located in the reception area at our College Office from 22nd November until 8th December and will be continually supervised and checked.

Your contribution will be able to help those who are assisted by St Vincent’s de Paul. ‘Vinnies’ is a local charity in Australia that has over 60,000 members and volunteers who endeavour to assist people in need and help decrease social injustice across Australia.

Commencing the week of 13-17 December, the installation is to be completed in time for the start of the 2022 school year. Exciting times ahead.

UPDATE: College Production -  The Wizard of Oz

After a period of consultation with the cast and discussion with the staff involved, a decision has been reached to not proceed with a performance of the Wizard of Oz in 2021. This has been communicated to production students and their families. Next year there will be a number of exciting opportunities for students to demonstrate their performance skills with a new show to be advertised and cast. Despite the performance of the Wizard of Oz not coming to fruition we acknowledge the amazing students who were cast in the show and the students who were to participate in backstage and makeup tasks. To the staff, in particular, Brendon Lane and Bianca Anderson I wish to thank you for the time and effort that went into the planning and rehearsals throughout 2020 and 2021.
