Advent

Sunday 28th November marks the beginning of the Church's season of Advent.  Advent is a period of approximately four weeks that is a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus at Christmas.  Like Lent, the liturgical colour for Advent is purple (violet) since both are seasons that prepare us for great feast days.

If parents and caregivers are looking to engage more prayerfully during Advent, Garratt Publishing are offering a Free Virtual Series with Australian speakers on a Tuesday evening from 7pm - 8pm during Advent.  Another free resource has been developed by the Sandhurst Diocese and is called The Journey Onwards.
