2A - Ms Meagan and Mrs Bird

Some outside fraction fun in 2A! Asher, Scarlett & Samara are showing how much they’ve learnt about fractions.

2B - Miss Bailey

2B were so happy to be able to get back into the garden last week. They went snail hunting, watered the garden and got to peel and taste some broad beans.

2B have been learning about fractions. Last week we read the book 'Wombat's Picnic', a story about a poor wombat that had to keep sharing his food at a picnic. We used playdough to help us work out how much food each animal would get. 2B are brilliant mathematicians!

2C - Mrs Mac

2C has been all about fractions in maths! We enjoyed reading a story about a wombat who needed to share his damper with his furry friends. We recreated the story with playdough and cut up our “damper” to create fractions!
