Quick Update

As we are all returning to life after extensive lockdowns there are still strict restrictions that impact on the P&F upcoming events schedule with events cancelled or postponed until later.

 

  • Second Hand Uniform Sale POSTPONED INDEFINITELY  In preparation of our return to school, those in need of second hand uniforms can look on the OPS P&F Facebook group 'OPS Parents and Friends Community Kindness' with collection and cash payment for items to be made via Brodie at the office.  
  • Walkathon Fundraiser – Tuesday, 12th October – CANCELLED 
  • Comedy Night at McKinnon Hotel – POSTPONED UNTIL TERM 1 2022  All ticket holders will be contacted via email.  If you currently hold a ticket and are happy with the new date, then you don’t need to do anything,  If you do hold a ticket and no longer wish to attend then please email us at p.and.f.ormond@gmail.com. 

Upcoming Events

Our P&F volunteers are currently working on the following events for 2021 and 2022 to help build a sense a community within our school, and to raise additional funds:  

Term 4 

  • Information session for 2022 Foundation families – Friday 12th November 9:30-10:30 An information session will be held for the families of the foundation students due to begin at Ormond Primary School in 2022. A second hand unform stall will be setup at this session.
  •  Mango Drive Fundraiser This fundraiser is going ahead with COVID safe practices.  
  • School Disco – Thursday, 18th November A school disco will be held in the school hall on the evening of Thursday 18th November with a junior disco for students in foundation to grade 3 running from 6:30 – 7:15pm and a senior disco for students in grades 4 through to 6 from 7:30 – 8:30pm.

Term 1 2022

  • Welcome Picnic – 5:30 – 8:30pm, Friday 18th February 2022 An evening of fun for families to welcome in the new school year. Enjoy ice cream, pizza and more!
  • Comedy Night for Parents/Carers at McKinnon Hotel – Date to be advised
