reDiocesan Sport Council Awards

At the Annual Catholic Diocesan Sports Council Awards, 6 St Joseph’s Bulli athletes were recognised for their achievements and success this year. Caitlin A and Joel O were awarded the prestigious Primary Red Medallion. Zane A, Emily B, Khale G and Callan P were awarded a Primary Medallion. 

 

The girls 4 x 4 Freestyle Relay Team, Andy K, Minerva B, London C, and Sadie J, were recognised for their gold medal win at the MacKillop trials and the school received a framed Team Sport Award to display in our trophy cabinet. (See image below) 

 

The following citations were written for the individual athlete’s which are read out during the awards evening. All students were awarded their medals at our school assembly on Friday. (See images below) 

 

Joel is a driven, tenacious and focused athlete who strives to always do his best. He is a motivated competitor and naturally talented athlete. Joel shows commitment to improving his skills and is an enthusiastic and passionate competitor. He demonstrates great leadership skills. His diligent approach to all aspects of school life ensures he leads by example and is a role model to his fellow peers.  

 

Caitlin is a disciplined and gracious athlete who is an outstanding sportsperson and competitor. She participates enthusiastically and is committed to not only her sporting endeavours but all aspects of school life. Caitlin is a determined and humble competitor who strives for accuracy in all that she does and is constantly looking for ways to improve her game and skillset. 

 

Zane is a talented and determined athlete who strives to achieve his personal best. He can transfer his skills across a wide range of sporting disciplines which has resulted in him representing the Diocese in six sports this year. He is a model of passion and sportsmanship. Zane seeks to achieve set goals and bring the best out of himself and his teammates.

 

Emily is a naturally talented and enthusiastic sportsperson. She shows commitment to improving her skills and is an enthusiastic and passionate competitor across a wide range of sporting disciplines. Emily is a model of determination and persistence when training and competing. Emily is a role model to others as House Captain and in all facets of school life. 

 

Khale is a determined and resilient athlete. He shows persistence when training and competing in a variety of sports, allowing him to utilise his array of skills across a range of sporting disciplines. His diligent approach towards his sporting endeavours has allowed Khale to be a role model to others as House Captain. 

 

Callan is a tenacious and enthusiastic athlete. He is a strong competitor who is focused and committed to his sporting endeavours. Callum has good interpersonal skills and applies himself to sport and academics alike. Callum is open to continuous learning and always strives to do his best and set goals to improve.  

 


2021 NSW ALL SCHOOLS ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS - Primary Expression of Interest

Please find an opportunity for any elite athletics students in Year 6 who will be 12 years of age as of 31 December. 

 

NSW Athletics is providing this event to these students as they have missed opportunities during their final school year, as their age still aligns with their current competition rules.
